First Friday At The Lindsay Wildlife Experience Contra Costa CA

Visit the Lindsay Wildlife Experience this month in honor of Earth Day!

Get out and celebrate Earth Day this month with a day at the Lindsay Wildlife Experience. This month, be sure to check out Free Friday at the wildlife center. Every third Friday of the month, the Lindsay Wildlife Experience opens their doors for a free day of family fun. Come and learn about all the wonderful animals the organization houses.

Free Friday! At the Lindsay Wildlife Experience

When: April 15, 2016

Where: The Lindsay Wildlife Experience

Time: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

With loads of daily activities, visitors are encouraged to explore the center and admire all the wildlife. Meet an animal ambassador where you’ll get to look at and learn about one of the center’s animals up close and personal. Additionally, you can check an animal presentation, listen to an animal keeper talk, or watch some of the local animal ambassadors eat their lunch. It’s a great opportunity to learn all about how the Lindsay Wildlife Center takes care of all their animal friends.

In addition to all the wildlife fun, be sure to stop for a bite to eat. During Free Friday, the center teams up with Taste of the World Food Market. Make sure to check out the food trucks just outside the center. With Grab & Go Kabob and Izzy A’s Frozen Custard, it’s sure to be delicious.

Free Friday! is sponsored by donations from businesses and organizations in your local community. The Lindsay Wildlife Experience is a non-profit organization that strive to educate the public about wildlife and the natural world through encounters with rescued animals. The organization’s wildlife hospital is one of the best in the nation as it is both the oldest and the largest of its kind.
